Top Digital Piano BrandsJust like buying any kind of electronics you already know how many brands possibly are out there. Our goal is not to confuse you or to bore you with getting into details about each brand, instead, we want to get right to the point. To answer your question though, there’re actually 103 digital piano brands worldwide.

There are actually 3 best rated digital piano brands that seem to be outperforming the others, as of 2010. Individuals manufacturers are Yamaha, Casio and Roland.

Casio has truly completed effectively throughout the last few years for your budget electronic pianos. Yamaha and Roland maintain boosting and innovating audio features and quality including online abilities, participant keyboard, total color monitors, keyboard discovering computer software, longevity and a lot more.

1) Yamaha digital pianos

We would say Yamaha are generally the most popular digital pianos by far. Their most popular lines are the entry level YDP Arius, and the portable stage pianos P Series. From our experience Yamaha’s best sellers are these two: YDP162 and P105.

Yamaha have got where they are today by outstanding branding, advertising and product development. They set up a great deal of hard work straight into producing their digital and stage pianos sound and feel as close to a real piano as possible. The sound sample they use for their digital pianos is taken from their own acoustic concert grand as this is one of the most important features you often hear and find in their best selling digital pianos.

2. Casio digital pianos

The second most popular got to be Casio and it offer two ranges: The Celviano models and the Privia.

We’d say people just can’t seem to shake off their calculator and watch image until just a few years ago that’s why people think Casio digital pianos were just mediocre.  But we personally have seen a great deal of positive signs of improvement in the recent years. Although Casio digital pianos are generally the cheaper designed for beginners – between half and two thirds the price of a Yamaha and Roland, we have gotten to really like it when we teach our students and have been using Casio more in gigs.

3. Roland digital pianos

Roland digital pianos have a warm, mellow, and rounded piano tone around the centre of the keyboard. The Roland piano sound is sampled from a Steinway concert grand piano.
Roland HP and KR pianos have a medium weighted touch… The keys feel nice under the fingers. Roland stage pianos rank amongst the best (RD and FP range) — The realistic key touch and sound is just what’s required for travelling professionals that perform for a living. If I were to buy a new stage piano then the Roland RD800 would be my first choice.

When we were all just starting out buying any pro instruments for the first time, we made all kinds of mistakes before such as buying a digital piano home but found out it's either too complex to use or with too little functions then ended up having to take it back for an exchange or what not. Don't you just hate that? So we started writing digital piano reviews by analyzing every aspect of each model thoroughly and putting my information together here in one location. Enjoy!
